Who We Are
With the publication of the Kothari Commission’s report on education, the urgent need for schools with a common syllabus throughout the country was felt. Although the Govt. of India and many states took steps in order to honor the spirit of Kothari commission, till the late sixties only a few hundred schools could be established. The rapidly burgeoning demand for such schools made the Children’s Education Trust of India, founded in 1966 realise its duty towards the need of our society.
With the inspiration late Dr. Sarupalli Radha Krishanan, the Children’s Education Trust of India constituted the Central Academy Educational Society, which made a long term program to establish such institutions at various places all over the country, all these schools are affiliated to C.B.S.E. New Delhi and some are affiliated to State Boards. By the strong will power and fair aim institutions are able to achieve its goal and running successfully.
Our school (Shahdol branch)started in the year 1992 and new building of our school is inaugurated by Mr. Indrajeet Kumar, Education Minister, Govt. of M.P. in the year 2002.
The chain of academy school throughout the have a common curriculum exam, pattern, uniform and those parents transferable job are provided with facility to shift their ward convenient one branch to another during the session.
Affiliation
Central Academy is affiliated to Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) and affiliation number is MPBSE Affiliation Number: 332052. Central Academy is an ISO 9001: 2000 organisation certified through IAS which keeps quality policy. Two summative assessments and four formative assessments are conducted in an academic year. The final results are declared on the basis of the performances of all the assessments.The academic session begins from the first week of April and ends on the 31st of March every year.
